This Privacy Policy explains how Hiddenly B.V. ("we", "us", "our") handles personal data in connection with the website at hiddenly.nl (the "Site"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and to complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who we are
The controller of your personal data is Hiddenly B.V., a private limited company (besloten vennootschap) registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 69634092, established in the Netherlands. You can reach us using the details in section 9.
2. Data we collect
We do not use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, advertising, social media widgets, embedded fonts, or any other third-party profiling tools. The Site loads no external resources whatsoever, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
The Site is hosted on GitHub Pages. As part of delivering the Site, our hosting provider may automatically process limited technical information such as your IP address and browser user-agent in standard server logs. That processing is carried out by the provider for security and delivery purposes, and we do not have access to those logs on an identifiable basis.
3. The contact form
The Site offers a contact form. Submitting it is entirely voluntary, and you decide what information to put in it. The form asks for your name, your email address, a subject, your message, and optionally your organisation.
When you submit the form, your browser composes the message and hands it to your own email application, from which you send it yourself. The form does not transmit your details to us, or to any third party, in the background — no data leaves your device until you press send in your mail client. You may equally write to us directly at the email address in section 9; the result is the same.
Once we receive your email, we process the personal data it contains solely to read, respond to, and administer your enquiry.
4. Legal basis
Where we process personal data, we rely on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in operating and securing the Site and in responding to enquiries addressed to us, on the steps necessary prior to entering into a contract at your request (Article 6(1)(b)) where applicable, and on compliance with a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)) where the law requires us to retain correspondence.
5. Retention
We keep email correspondence only for as long as necessary to handle your request and to comply with applicable legal and administrative retention obligations, after which it is deleted.
6. Sharing and transfers
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. Data may be processed by our hosting and email providers acting on our behalf, and may be disclosed where we are legally required to do so. Our email is provided by Google; where that involves a transfer outside the European Economic Area, it takes place under the safeguards that provider has put in place, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- request access to the personal data we hold about you;
- request correction or deletion of your personal data;
- object to, or request restriction of, processing;
- request data portability;
- withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent; and
- lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 9. We respond to requests within one month.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the "Last updated" date above reflecting the latest revision.
